Exact, calendar based
Age is counted the way people count it: full years first, then full months, then the remaining days, using the real length of every month. Someone born on 31 January is one month older on the last day of February, and someone born on 29 February celebrates on 28 February in years without a leap day.
Change the second date to find out how old someone was at an event, or how old they will be on a future date such as a retirement, a school start or a visa deadline.
Fun numbers
Below the age you see the total in months, weeks, days and hours, plus the weekday you were born. Many people celebrate their 10,000th day, which is at about 27 years and 4 months.
