From spreadsheet to table in seconds
Importing price lists, product catalogs or customer exports into a database usually means writing long INSERT statements by hand or fighting with import wizards. This tool reads the data, works out a fitting type for every column and writes the SQL for you.
Numbers become INT, BIGINT or DECIMAL with the right precision, true and false become BIT or BOOLEAN, dates become DATE or DATETIME and text gets a length that fits the longest value.
Safe values for every database
Quotes inside text are escaped, accented and other special characters are kept, and SQL Server strings get the N prefix so Unicode is stored correctly. Codes with leading zeros, such as barcodes and postal codes, stay text so no digits are lost.
Large tables are split into batches, because SQL Server accepts at most 1000 rows in a single VALUES list.
