Lines with mistakes are listed with their line number and the rest are still generated, so one typo does not stop the whole list.

Check digits done for you

EAN, UPC and ITF-14 codes end with a check digit calculated from the other digits. Enter the code without it and it is added for you; enter the full code and it is verified, so a wrong digit is caught before you print thousands of labels.

Choose automatic type and 13 digit codes become EAN-13, 8 digit codes EAN-8, 14 digit codes ITF-14 and everything else Code 128.

Frequently asked questions

Are my codes uploaded anywhere?

No. Barcodes, ZIP files and PDF sheets are created in your browser. Your product list never leaves your device.

Can I use these barcodes on products I sell?

The barcodes are drawn to the standard and scan correctly. For retail you also need numbers that belong to your company, which you get from GS1 in your country.

Which type should I use?

EAN-13 for retail products in most of the world, UPC-A in the US and Canada, ITF-14 for shipping cartons and Code 128 for internal codes such as SKUs, shelf locations and shipments.

How do I print labels?

Choose PDF labels, pick the sheet layout that matches your label paper and download. Print at 100% scale, not fit to page, so the barcodes keep their size.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working without an internet connection.
