Your files
The tools on Anyfeat run in your browser. Files you add are read and converted on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see them.
When you close or reload the page, the files are gone from the page as well.
What our servers see
Like any website, our servers and our network provider receive basic request data such as your IP address and browser type when you open a page. We use it only to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites.
Data stored in your browser
Some things are stored only in your browser and never sent to us: small settings such as a closed language suggestion, your favorite and recently used tools, typing test records and lesson progress. You can clear the recently used list in the Tools menu, and everything with your browser's site data settings.
When you change a tool's settings, they are written into the page address after the # sign so you can bookmark or share them. That part of the address is not sent to our servers.
So that tools keep working without an internet connection, the pages you open, the site's own code and AI models you use are saved in your browser.
When files are kept for a moment
Your files are never stored by us. They are kept in your browser for at most a few minutes in three cases: when you use Next step to carry a result to another tool, when you drop a file on a page and choose a tool for it, and when you send a file to the installed Anyfeat app from your phone's share menu. They are deleted as soon as the tool opens and never leave your device.
Tools on other websites
Some tools can be embedded on other websites. They work there in the same way: files are processed in the visitor's browser and the website that shows the tool cannot see them.
Error reports
If a tool stops with an unexpected error, your browser sends us a short report so we can fix it: the tool name, the page language and address, the error message and your browser type. File names are removed from the message. Your files, their contents and your IP address are never sent or stored.
With Report a problem you can send us a note yourself. Only the text you write is sent, together with the tool name and your browser type. Reports are kept for at most 60 days.
