Spin the wheel

Type names or options, one per line, and spin the wheel to pick one at random. Every slice has exactly the same chance, and nothing you type leaves your device.

Free and private. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Add your entriesType or paste names, prizes or options, one per line.
  2. SpinClick the center of the wheel or press the space bar.
  3. See the resultThe winner is shown under the wheel and added to the results.

A wheel that is really fair

Many wheel spinners pick the result from the animation itself, which depends on frame timing and can favour some slices. Here the winner is chosen first with the secure random generator of your browser, the same one used for encryption, and only then does the wheel turn to stop on that slice. Each entry has exactly the same chance, and the animation cannot change it.

Want one name to have a higher chance? Add it twice. Duplicate lines become separate slices.

For classrooms, giveaways and decisions

Teachers use the wheel to pick who answers next, streamers to draw giveaway winners, teams to choose who presents first, and friends to decide where to eat. Turn on Remove winner to draw several winners in a row without repeats, and use full screen to show the wheel on a projector or in a live stream.

Your list is saved in this browser, so it is still there next time you open the page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. The winner is selected with crypto.getRandomValues before the wheel moves, with equal odds for every slice, and the wheel then stops on that slice.

How many names can I add?

Up to 1,000. With more than 300 entries the slices are too thin for labels, but the draw still works.

Can I pick several winners without repeats?

Yes. Turn on Remove winner and spin again; each winner is taken off the wheel.

Are my names uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.
