Why the language setting matters
Upper and lower case are not the same in every language. German ß becomes SS in capitals, Greek uses a different sigma at the end of a word, and Turkish and Azerbaijani have both a dotted and a dotless i. Title case differs too: English keeps of and the small, Spanish keeps de and la, German keeps und and der.
This converter applies the rules of the language you choose, for both letters and the short words that stay lowercase in titles. The language of the page is selected first and can be changed at any time.
Clean titles and sentences
Title Case capitalizes the important words and keeps short words such as a, of, and or the lowercase, except at the start and end of a title. Sentence case lowercases everything and capitalizes the first letter of each sentence, which is handy for text typed with caps lock on.
