QR code generator

Create a QR code for a link, a Wi-Fi network, a business card, an email, an SMS or a WhatsApp chat. Pick colors, add your logo and download it as PNG or SVG. The codes are static, so they work forever.

Free and private. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

Static QR codes that keep working

Many QR code sites create a short link that points to their own server and later ask for a subscription to keep it working. The codes made here contain your content directly, so they never expire and nobody can switch them off.

Because everything happens in your browser, Wi-Fi passwords, phone numbers and other details you type are never sent to us.

Tips for codes that scan every time

Keep a dark code on a light background, leave the margin around it and print it at least 2 cm wide. Shorter content gives bigger squares, which scan faster from a distance.

Error correction lets a code survive dirt, folds and a logo in the middle. Medium is fine for most uses; choose high for printed codes that may get damaged.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes with your content inside, not a redirect through our server, so they keep working as long as the content is valid.

Is it really free?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you create or how you use them, including commercial use.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Add a logo and it is placed in the middle on a small background. Error correction is set to high automatically so the code still scans.

PNG or SVG?

PNG works everywhere, from documents to social media. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, which makes it the best choice for print.

Can I change where a QR code points after printing?

Not with a static code. If you may need to change the destination later, point the code to a page on your own site and change that page instead.
