Online alarm clock

Set an alarm for any time today or tomorrow, add a note so you know what it is for, and snooze it when it rings. Keep the tab open and your computer awake.

Free and private. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

How it works

  1. Pick the timeChoose the alarm time and add a note if you like.
  2. Set the alarmPress Set alarm. The list shows how long until it rings.
  3. Stop or snoozeWhen it rings, stop it or snooze for five minutes.

Reminders while you work

An alarm in the browser is handy when your phone is in another room or on silent: a reminder for a call at 3:00, the end of a parking ticket, the moment to take something out of the oven or to leave for school pickup. Give each alarm a note so you know at once what it is for.

If the time you choose has already passed today, the alarm is set for tomorrow. The list shows how long until each alarm rings and highlights the next one.

Things to know

Alarms only ring while this tab is open and your computer is awake, so keep the page open and plug in your laptop for an early wake up. While an alarm is set, the page asks your device to keep the screen on. Test the sound and volume before you rely on it.

Frequently asked questions

Will the alarm ring if the tab is in the background?

Yes, as long as the tab stays open and the computer does not go to sleep. The sound is scheduled in advance so it starts on time.

Will it ring if I close the browser?

No. A web page cannot play sound after it is closed. Your alarms are saved, though, and are active again when you open the page.

How long is the snooze?

Five minutes. You can snooze as often as you like.

Can I set an alarm for tomorrow?

Yes. If the time has already passed today, the alarm rings at that time tomorrow.
