Smart CSV reading
Commas, semicolons, tabs and vertical bars are all detected automatically, and quoted values with line breaks are read correctly. Numbers and true or false values become real JSON numbers and booleans.
Codes with leading zeros, such as barcodes and postal codes, and very long numbers stay as text so they are never changed by accident.
About CSV
CSV (comma separated values) stores a table as plain text: one line per row and a separator between columns. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and almost every database tool, which makes it the easiest way to move data between programs.
About JSON
JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a text format for structured data. It uses objects with keys and values, arrays, strings, numbers, true, false and null. Almost every web API and many configuration files use it because both people and programs can read it easily.
