Compress image to 100KB
Make a photo 100KB or smaller for forms and uploads with a size limit. The tool finds the best quality that fits and only shrinks the picture if quality alone is not enough.
Your files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser.

How it works
Add your filesDrop them onto the page or choose them from your device. You can add as many as you like.
Choose the levelRecommended is selected by default. Pick Strong for smaller files or Low to keep more detail.
Compare and downloadCheck the result against the original, then save each on its own or all of them as a ZIP.
When you need 100KB
100 KB is a common limit for document scans and photos on application forms, support tickets and email systems with tight attachment rules. It also keeps web pages light when you need many images.
The target is already set to 100KB. The compressor first searches for the highest JPG or WebP quality that fits. If even low quality is too big, the picture is scaled down step by step until it fits, and the row shows the new size, for example 4000 × 3000 > 640 × 480.
Tips for a sharp result
For scanned documents, scan in grayscale or crop the margins away first. Text stays readable at surprisingly small sizes when the page has good contrast.
PNG files are saved as JPG for this, or as WebP when they have transparency, because PNG cannot be made smaller by lowering the quality.
Frequently asked questions
Will my photo really be under 100KB?
Yes, unless the limit is extremely small for the content. The result is checked and the row says so if 100KB could not be reached.
Why did the size in pixels change?
Very small limits cannot be reached with quality alone, so the picture was scaled down as little as possible.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Compression runs in your browser on your own device. Your files are not sent to our servers.
Will I see a difference in quality?
At the Recommended level most people cannot tell the difference. Use Compare on any file to check it side by side before you download.
Can I compress an image to an exact size like 100 KB?
Yes, for JPG and WebP. Choose Target size and type the size in KB. The tool finds the highest quality that fits under it.
What if the file is already small?
If compression cannot make a file smaller, you get the original back unchanged. The tool never makes a file bigger.
Does it remove photo metadata?
Yes. Camera details and location data (EXIF) are removed from compressed files, which also saves a little space.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working even if your connection drops.
