Favicon from text

Make a clean favicon from one to three letters, such as your initials or the first letter of your brand, without any design software.

Your files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser.

How it works

  1. Type your lettersOne to three letters, for example your initials.
  2. Pick colors and shapeText and background color, square, rounded or circle.
  3. Download the packageUpload the files and paste the HTML code.

Letters make great favicons

A single bold letter on a colored background is one of the most readable icons in a crowded tab bar. Type one to three characters, choose a font, a text color and a background, and pick a square, rounded or round shape.

The letters are sized automatically to fill the icon, and each file size is drawn separately so they stay crisp at 16 pixels.

Ready for your site

The download contains favicon.ico, PNG icons, the Apple touch icon, Android icons and a manifest file. Paste the HTML code into the head of your pages and you are done.
