Image color picker

Find the exact color of any pixel in a picture: hover with the magnifier, click to save the color and copy its HEX, RGB or HSL code, or take the whole palette.

Your files never leave your device. Everything runs in your browser.

How it works

  1. Add an imageChoose a file, drop it or paste a screenshot.
  2. Point and clickMove over the image; the magnifier shows the pixel. Click to save the color.
  3. Copy the codeClick a HEX, RGB or HSL code to copy it.

Exact colors from photos, logos and screenshots

Designers match a brand color from a logo, developers grab the color of a button from a screenshot, and anyone can find the name of a color they like in a photo. The magnifier enlarges the pixels under the pointer so you can pick exactly the one you want, even on thin lines and small text.

Each saved color is shown as HEX (for CSS and design tools), RGB and HSL. Transparent pixels are read as if they were on white.

Palette in one step

The palette groups similar colors in the image and lists the most common ones first. It is a quick way to build a color scheme from a photo or to find the main colors of a logo.
