How it works
Add your JPG filesDrop them onto the page or choose them from your device. You can add as many as you like.
Set the new sizePick a percent or type a width and height in pixels. Proportions are kept unless you turn that off.
DownloadCheck the new dimensions shown for each JPG, then save them one by one or as a ZIP.
Why resize JPG photos?
Modern phones take photos of 4000 pixels or more across, while most websites show them at 1200 to 2000 pixels. Resizing to the size you actually need cuts the file size dramatically and speeds up uploads.
Marketplaces and job sites often ask for a specific width or a maximum size, and pixel mode lets you match those rules exactly.
After resizing, the JPG is saved again at the quality you choose, so the file usually ends up many times smaller than the original.
About JPG
JPG is the usual format for photos. After resizing it is saved again at the quality you choose, which together with the smaller dimensions makes the file a lot lighter.
Frequently asked questions
What size should photos be for a website?
Around 1200 to 2000 pixels wide is enough for most pages. Use smaller sizes for thumbnails and product grids.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing runs in your browser on your own device. Your files are not sent to our servers.
Will my image be stretched?
Not with Keep proportions on, which is the default. The image is scaled to fit the size you enter.
Can I resize many images to the same width?
Yes. Choose Pixels, type the width, leave the height empty and add all your images. Each one keeps its own proportions.
Why did my small image not get bigger?
Enlarging is off by default because it makes images blurry. Turn off Do not enlarge small images if you really need a bigger size.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working even if your connection drops.
