How it works

  1. Add your PNG filesDrop them onto the page or choose them from your device. You can add as many as you like.
  2. Set the new sizePick a percent or type a width and height in pixels. Proportions are kept unless you turn that off.
  3. DownloadCheck the new dimensions shown for each PNG, then save them one by one or as a ZIP.

Why resize PNG images?

Logos and screenshots are often exported much larger than they are shown, which makes pages heavy. Resizing them to the real display size keeps them crisp and much lighter.

Transparency is kept, so a resized logo still sits cleanly on any background.

Need several sizes of the same icon, for example 512, 192 and 32 pixels? Run the resizer once per size, or use the Image Converter to build a multi size ICO file for favicons. When the result is still large, Compress PNG can usually shrink it by more than half without losing transparency.

Is transparency kept after resizing?

Yes. The resized PNG keeps transparent and semi transparent areas.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing runs in your browser on your own device. Your files are not sent to our servers.

Will my image be stretched?

Not with Keep proportions on, which is the default. The image is scaled to fit the size you enter.

Can I resize many images to the same width?

Yes. Choose Pixels, type the width, leave the height empty and add all your images. Each one keeps its own proportions.

Why did my small image not get bigger?

Enlarging is off by default because it makes images blurry. Turn off Do not enlarge small images if you really need a bigger size.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working even if your connection drops.
