How it works
Add your WebP filesDrop them onto the page or choose them from your device. You can add as many as you like.
Set the new sizePick a percent or type a width and height in pixels. Proportions are kept unless you turn that off.
DownloadCheck the new dimensions shown for each WebP, then save them one by one or as a ZIP.
Why resize WebP images?
Serving images at the size they are displayed is one of the biggest wins for page speed. A WebP that is resized to fit its slot loads faster and uses less mobile data.
You can also switch the output to JPG or PNG if another program needs it.
A common approach is to keep two versions of each image, a large one around 1600 pixels wide for desktop screens and a smaller one around 800 pixels for phones.
About WebP
WebP combines small file sizes with good quality and transparency. Resizing WebP images to the size they are actually shown on a page is one of the easiest ways to speed up a website.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the format while resizing?
Yes. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP under Output format, or keep Same format.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing runs in your browser on your own device. Your files are not sent to our servers.
Will my image be stretched?
Not with Keep proportions on, which is the default. The image is scaled to fit the size you enter.
Can I resize many images to the same width?
Yes. Choose Pixels, type the width, leave the height empty and add all your images. Each one keeps its own proportions.
Why did my small image not get bigger?
Enlarging is off by default because it makes images blurry. Turn off Do not enlarge small images if you really need a bigger size.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working even if your connection drops.
