When to use capital letters

Capital letters are common in headlines, labels, product codes, signs and forms that ask for names in block letters. Paste the text once and get the uppercase version right away.

Choose the language of your text in the options. For most languages the result is the same, but German, Greek, Lithuanian, Turkish and Azerbaijani have letters with their own capital forms.

Examples

Turn a list of names into block capitals for a form, write a product code or a heading in capitals, or prepare labels and signs. Line breaks and spacing stay exactly as they were.

About TXT

Any plain text works, including lists, titles and text copied from documents, emails or websites. Line breaks are kept exactly as they are.

Frequently asked questions

Does it change numbers or symbols?

No. Only letters change; numbers, punctuation and spaces stay exactly the same.

Is my text uploaded?

No. Conversion happens in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers.

Why does the language setting change some letters?

Most letters convert the same way everywhere, but a few do not. If your text contains the Turkish letters İ or ı and another language is selected, the tool tells you, because those letters would change.

Are names and abbreviations kept?

Sentence case and Title Case lowercase other letters, so abbreviations like NASA become Nasa. Fix those by hand after converting, or use Capitalize Each Word for lists of names.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working without an internet connection.
