Readable text in one click
Sentence case is the natural style for paragraphs, product descriptions, messages and subtitles. It is the quickest way to clean up text that was typed in capitals or copied with random capital letters.
A new sentence starts after a full stop, question mark, exclamation mark or a line break.
Examples
Clean up product descriptions supplied in capitals, fix subtitles that were typed in a mix of upper and lower case, or tidy notes copied from an old system. Lines are kept, so lists stay lists.
About TXT
Any plain text works, including lists, titles and text copied from documents, emails or websites. Line breaks are kept exactly as they are.
Frequently asked questions
Will names be capitalized?
No, only the first letter of each sentence is. Capitalize names by hand after converting.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Conversion happens in your browser and nothing is sent to our servers.
Why does the language setting change some letters?
Most letters convert the same way everywhere, but a few do not. If your text contains the Turkish letters İ or ı and another language is selected, the tool tells you, because those letters would change.
Are names and abbreviations kept?
Sentence case and Title Case lowercase other letters, so abbreviations like NASA become Nasa. Fix those by hand after converting, or use Capitalize Each Word for lists of names.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working without an internet connection.
