How it works
Add your SVG filesDrop them onto the page or choose them from your device. You can add as many as you like.
Check the settingsThe output is already set to PNG. You can still change the settings if you need to.
DownloadSave each PNG on its own or get them all at once in a ZIP file.
Why convert SVG to PNG?
SVG files stay sharp at any size, but many places only accept regular images: social media, office documents, chat apps and some content management systems.
Converting to PNG creates a pixel image at a fixed size. Pick a larger scale if you need a crisp result for print or high resolution screens.
About SVG
SVG is a vector format. Instead of pixels it stores shapes, so it stays sharp at any size. It is used for logos, icons and illustrations, but many apps and sites only accept regular pixel images.
About PNG
PNG is a lossless format. It keeps every pixel exactly as it is and supports transparent backgrounds, which makes it ideal for screenshots, logos and graphics with text. The downside is size: photos saved as PNG are often several times larger than the same photo as JPG.
Frequently asked questions
What size will the PNG be?
The tool uses the size set in the SVG file and multiplies it by the scale you pick. If the SVG has no size, it is rendered 1024 pixels wide.
Why are some fonts or images missing in the result?
Only what is inside the SVG file is drawn. For security, browsers do not load linked files or run scripts when they render an SVG as an image, so external fonts and pictures can be missing.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser on your own device. Your files are not sent to our servers.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
There is no fixed limit. Very large images depend on how much memory your device has, so a phone may struggle with images above about 50 megapixels.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no watermark.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. After you open the page once, it keeps working even if your connection drops, because the conversion runs entirely in your browser.
What happens to transparent areas when I convert to JPG?
JPG cannot store transparency, so those areas are filled with a background color. White is the default and you can pick another color in the options.
Which format gives the smallest file?
It depends on the image. After converting, use Find the smallest format: the tool tries WebP, JPG and PNG with your own files and shows which one is smallest.
Can I keep working on the converted files?
Yes. The Next step bar takes your results straight to another conversion without uploading or choosing them again.
Does it work with animated GIFs?
The first frame of an animated GIF is converted as a still image.
